MOR 5610 series is a heavy‑duty, single‑end, balanced cartridge mechanical seal designed for severe pumping applications in the mineral processing, pulp & paper, power generation, and chemical industries. It features a robust stationary multi‑spring design with a cartridge configuration, making it ideal for handling abrasive slurries, corrosive fluids, and high‑speed process pumps.
MOR 5610 series is widely used as a direct replacement for various mainstream OEM seals and complies with general industry standards for reliability and ease of maintenance.

Features
Stationary Multi‑Spring Construction
The springs are located outside the process fluid, preventing clogging from suspended solids and ensuring corrosion resistance. This design provides consistent spring force for reliable axial compensation.
Balanced Seal Face
Engineered with a balanced face geometry (load factor < 1), which minimizes friction heat generation and reduces wear. This allows the seal to operate efficiently under high pressure and high speed conditions.
Cartridge Integrated Design
Pre‑assembled as a single unit with preset spring compression. It eliminates on‑site measuring and adjusting, drastically reducing installation time and human error.
Positive Drive Mechanism
Equipped with a drive collar and set screws, ensuring positive torque transmission regardless of rotation direction (bidirectional).
Integrated Flush Port
Features a dedicated port to support API Plan 11, 23, or 32 flushing schemes, enabling effective cooling, lubrication, and removal of abrasive particles from the seal face.
Advantages
Superior Abrasion Resistance: Isolated springs prevent fouling in dirty services.
Low Maintenance: Cartridge design simplifies replacement and reduces downtime.
Wide Material Compatibility: Suitable for a broad spectrum of process fluids.
Cost‑Effective Performance: A reliable heavy‑duty seal at a competitive price point.
Interchangeability: Direct fit replacement for many competitive cartridge seals.
Applications
Mineral & Mining: Ore slurries, tailings disposal, thickener underflow pumps.
Pulp & Paper: Stock preparation, black liquor, green liquor, and washing pumps.
Power Generation: FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization) limestone slurries, ash handling.
Chemical Processing: Corrosive acids, alkalis, and solvent mixtures.
Wastewater Treatment: Raw sewage, sludge dewatering, and abrasive waste streams.
