Rotating Primary Face

Installation Method Of Mechanical Seal
The installation method of mechanical seal needs to pay attention to the following key steps and precautions:
Preparation and inspection
Prepare the required tools and check the tools to ensure that the tools are intact and suitable for use.
Clean all related parts such as seals, shafts, sealing chambers, glands, etc. to ensure that they are clean and free of impurities.
Lubrication and installation
To reduce friction resistance, the part where the mechanical seal is installed on the shaft can be lubricated with a thin layer of oil. However, it should be noted that if the rubber O-ring is incompatible with oil, soapy water or other suitable lubricants should be applied.
Install the static ring and the gland on the shaft together, taking care to avoid collision with the shaft. Then install the dynamic ring assembly to ensure that the positions of all parts are correct.
Fixation and adjustment
The set screws of the spring seat or transmission seat should be tightened evenly in several times to avoid deflection or damage to the parts.
Before fixing the gland, push the compensation ring by hand for axial compression. After loosening, the compensation ring should be able to rebound automatically without jamming. Then tighten the gland bolts evenly.
Trial run and inspection
After installation, conduct a trial run to check if the mechanical seal has any leakage or other abnormalities.
If any abnormality is found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and adjustment to ensure that the mechanical seal works properly.
