Features

Non-contact labyrinth design: Uses a multi-path labyrinth structure to block contaminants without touching the shaft.

Rotating & stationary components: Typically consists of a rotating hub (mounted on the shaft) and a stationary stator (mounted in the housing).

Positive lubricant retention: Prevents oil leakage and minimizes lubricant loss under normal and dynamic operating conditions.

Pressure equalization: Allows internal pressure to equalize gradually while blocking external ingress.

No elastomers or wearing parts: Most bearing isolators operate without rubber lips, springs or friction faces, eliminating aging and wear.

Shaft protection: Does not score or damage the shaft surface, unlike lip seals.

Advantages

Zero wear and zero friction: No contact means no replacement due to wear.

Superior contamination exclusion: Effectively blocks water, dust, dirt and process fluids.

No shaft damage: Will not wear grooves into the shaft.

Maintenance-free: Reduces downtime and replacement costs.

Improved bearing life: Clean lubrication and stable environment significantly extend bearing service life.

Environmentally friendly: Eliminates oil leaks and reduces lubricant consumption.

Applications

Centrifugal pumps (water, chemical, oil, process pumps)

Fans, blowers and ventilation equipment

Electric motors and generators

Gearboxes and speed reducers

Compressors and mixers

Paper, mining, marine and power generation equipment

MOR bearing isolator is a non-contact, non-wearing shaft sealing device designed to exclude contaminants (dust, moisture, oil, process fluids) from bearing housings while retaining lubrication inside. Unlike traditional lip seals or mechanical seals, it operates with zero physical contact between rotating and stationary parts, resulting in no wear, no friction, and effectively permanent service life.

It is widely used in pumps, fans, compressors, gearboxes, motors and other rotating equipment to protect bearings and extend maintenance intervals.

Types available

Rotary labyrinth bearing isolators

Magnetic bearing isolators

Split bearing isolators
